One for the B5/Swedish Enthusiasts

Post by LegalEagle » Thu Jul 26, 2007 3:23 pm

Took the car to Sweden on the ferry recently, when crossing the Oresund bridge from Denmark to Sweden I passed a B5 RS4 Avant. Next thing I know he comes screaming past me at unbelievable speed. Played tag for a while but I couldn't help notice how incredibly quick his car was. One indicator was that when he booted it in second he left 4 bloody great strips of rubber down the round. We met up and it's safe to say that there was much mutual respect - mine due to the fact that he had 500hp and 600nm of torque. Amazing, and deeply impressive as it's one of the fastest (and quietest) cars I've ever seen.

If it was Mr Eat Me, then it's not a B5 i'd be racing. Not only is the car a monster, but the driver is more than a tad accomplished & has taught a few folk on here a thing or 2 about mastering the Nordschliefe.

No, silver. Driven by a youngish dude. Swedish plates. As fast as anything I've seen on the road.
