Exhaust Dilemma

Hi

I have currently fitted to the car a full Miltek system including CATS. However it is the non-resonated system, and is a little too loud in the cabin at cruising speeds for my liking.

Was looking for some feedback on views and technical about changing the cat back system back to an standard AUDI system. Are there going to be any issue with doing this???

Or would i be better just buying the resonated centre section from Miltek does this make much difference over the non resonated system.

feedback please.

Dave.

I don't think you can fit the Audi exhaust to the Milltek CATS

I've heard that the resonated system is much better (quieter) than the non-responated one but not too quiet.

I tried non resonated Milltek and it was too loud for me. So, changed to resonated . Definitly a lot better in car whilst still much better than standard from outside. I would recommend this.

So you mind me asking who you used, and what they charged for changing the centre sections to resonated.

Cheers Dave.

My work's mechanic did the change over. Took no more than 15 minutes.

The way it is fitted make a big difference , badly fitted it can be very loud. Milltek factory is the best place i have to admit, their work is fantastic.

With the resonated link pipes the boomy sound will be gone.
