RS4 Avant, 5000 miles - worth?

I'm looking to sell my 56 Plate, Black Avant which has only done 5000 miles and is in showroom condition.
Tech pack and heated front\rear seats are the only options on the car.

I'm being offered 42 - 43K by the trade - has anyone had a recent expeirence selling theirs?

Is this what people are expecting in the current market?

You should expect about £47-48K if sold private, but as ever, selling a high value car privately is always tricky, but i'd take the risk for an extra £5K.

We're hoping to move to Cyprus in 12months, bought a villa and just need the cash.

the RS4's immaculate and am open to offers! They would certainly get a better deal than going direct to Audi

I would try pistonheads, its free, I sold my boxster 987s in March this year on there within a week and got 4k more than the dealer had offered, so I would say have a go there maybe the right person waiting to buy.

1. because in certain cases it will affect the resale/market for the car

and

2. because I'm in the market for an RS4 myself Jerry!! Can't live with buckets day to day and for resale would always have Recaro's (AKA "Old man seats" )
