Nice to see your using your car as it is meant to be used.
That 12.88 is an amazing time, i take it the conditions were pretty good.

Impressive time!! Didnt realise the B7 could crack 12's. That car just becomes more and more appealing.

Possibly.

Over on Dragtime.com the fastest RS4 listed is a 13.01 @ 102.1 mph!
As a comparison on the M5Board there is a guy quoting a 12.96 @ 108mph
for his new M5.

Well done.

What was your trap speed? Trap times dont paint a full picture of the cars performance. Over on dragtime a RS4 did a 13.3 but topped out at 109mph which is quicker than sykoboy's 108.

What is the best way to get the car off the line for a fast start?

Santa Pod is coming up soon and I would love to get around the 13 sec mark.

Any tips please?

I find they run well on a high performance diesel... try using that. Also, make sure you eat lots of food and drink lots of wine before you go up (food=extra weight, so more traction & Wine=improved reaction times for launching off the lights)

Good luck Al! ;-)
