Retro Fit??

Post by 55JWB » Thu May 17, 2007 8:56 am

Can anyone point me to or can we create one here, a handy list of what options can be retro fitted and appx costings??

I know phone and Nav can be, I think the cool box can be, how about blinds? Auto boot lid open and other stuff??

Many thanks

possibly contacts also, not sure if that will breach certain forum rules, maybe a mod can advise??

Maybe Craig can start with CD changer, Nav, Phone and iPod options??

Having lived with the car for two weeks, I would really like the auto boot lid opener? not sure if thats even possible?

Found this http://www.audi-accessories.co.uk/index ... roductId=4

Certainly a list of all retro fitable options with appx costings would be very useful...

Me too, I suspect it's just a bigger spring.

Can't belive the first owner of my car (who ticked most of the boxes) missed this one!

I have the auto boot opener and to be honest its a bit tempremental, 6 times out of 10 it will open first time but the rest of the time it can take ages to open... usually by which time I have opened it myself :)

its around £140 in parts alone, two new hinges and two new gas struts and the hinges need painting....

Great little extra for £30 but not worth worrying about for that amount. I rather save my money and put towards some titan RS4 wheels.
Nardo Grey RS6 Vorsprung 600 PS 2021 model
Nardo Grey RS6 Performance 605 PS. Titanium
Misano Red RS4 B8 450 PS
Phantom Black RS4 B7 444 BHP
