New? Yours?

Lovely example, its a real shame you don't get the seats and steering wheel. Considering the dross American manufacturers are allowed to get away with its a real crime that you guys are told that it would be illegal to fit them, especially when our crash tests etc are more rigid.

Hope you enjoy it.

Thanks, 6 weeks old and yes, mine.

Well the steering wheel and seats are nice but frankly I'm glad we did not get them in the US. The seats are not really made for any distance comfort and for tracking I've a E30 M3. As far as the wheel, again I like the features and safety of the bluetooth being incorporated. The start buttone would have been cool...if you did not need to insert a key!

I do wish we got the factory sport suspension instead of spending 5K for a Stasis suspension, however the car feels 500 lbs lighter.

The fact you've a Avant is enough to make us Yanks envious....don't rub it in. But living in Southern California has its perks too...

Cheers!

anyone else reading this as "the seats are not really made for the average size of an American's arse"

seats are ultra supportive and very comfortbale over any distance IMHO

I would not confuse the American Ford Explorer buyer with the Audi RS4 buyer, ever.

Besides I've been across the Atlantic....the USA does not corner the fat people market by any measure. Besides since we can only hear about them on Euro-Centric boards it's Europeans that have complained, in fact some poster on one of the RS4 boards sued Audi for "ahem" problems.

I would have liked the choice however to pick my own seats, steering wheel and options. More importantly the Avant version....I will give you guys that...and the Cosworth RS500.

Totally agree with you there about the potential size of the people here but really if your normal sized the Recaro buskets are very comfy over distance. Best seats I've ever had in car in fact.
Always nice to have a choice thoogh. I'm off to look up a 5k suspension set up...

Is this the Ohlins setup or the Konis? I ran the Stasis Motorsport Ohlins in the S3 and it was the best suspension I have ever used. eg hit ripple strips on the track at 110% and the car wouldn't move just followed my bad line.
