RS4 price in USA....

......is stupidly low at $65,000 (£33,000) starting price.
Would there be any reason at all (assuming I want a LHD model of course) that I would not buy an RS4 in the US and ship it over? Am I missing something fundametal here? Any differences between US versions and European versions? Warranty issues aside of course.
The favourable current exchange rate would make this an attractive proposition would it not?
Thoughts?

The US version has S4 seats and steering wheel, no start button, you'll have to swap the Radio for it to work properly in Europe, and there may be different emissions standards / fuel programming. Plus, it'd be LHD and there's the cost of shipping.

Aha....that's why I asked. LHD is good of course as I am based in Sweden these days. Had a look at the Audi US site and there seems to be many less optional toys to have on.
Probably too much aggro to retrofit to a european spec and then to ship. Answers the question....
Cheers

Basically. If you live over here, though, the only things you need to swap are the steering wheel (most important) and maybe the seats at a later date.
I can live without a start button... *debates retrofit*

Have a look under the Downloads link at the top of the page - go to B7 Docs
There's the full US dealer launch pack with all difference to the Eurpoean spec clearly shown (with pictures...)
