Unvalved Milltek just fitted to my B7 RS4

This morning I had a Milltek Catback system fitted to my Rs4 and although I thought the sound was great before this, it is absolutely stunning now!!. From fire up onwards it is just a totally different (much deeper and purposeful ) sound. It sounds a bit like the "unrestricted" SL 55 noise in the F1 course car!!

I looked briefly at Magnatec (but not out yet) . Milltek cost circa £850 and was fitted in less than an hour by my mechanic at work.

Hate to sound naive, but could you guys kindly explain the difference between valved/unvalved and resonated/non-resonated?

I have been thinking about getting the unvalved one too but would like to hear one first as I have concerns it is going to annoy the neighbours. How much louder is it compared to the standard exhaust?

Valved/unvalved - valved means that, like the standard exhaust, when you press the S button it opens valves at the rear that make the exhaust note louder. Unvalved is always in the louder state.
Resonated/no-resonated - ???

Dom, the unvalved will be the same noise as mine when I've pressed the S button.

I promise you that the unvalved Milltek system just fitted today bears NO resemblance to the standard unit with S depressed. There is a HUGE difference in volume and pitch!!!

Daz has Milltek and says valve'd sounds like unvalve'd when the S button is pressed.
