Do all new B7 RS4's come with clear indicators now or is it an option?
If standard what date did this start?
Thanks

My lights have just been replaced with new ones, and were not clear even though they are a completely different part number to the original.

Yes read that, I suppose they may have people who don't want clear, or if one had to be replaced following damage.

mmmmm..... might make it a bit difficult to see in the dark........dont find the lights to be that great to be honest, dip beam is ok, but Main does not have enough distance to be able to press on if you are in the countryside. Maybe I am spoilt by xenon lights in Rangey which certainly light the entire place up.

Definitely no orange on the Audi configurator, but would love to have a definitive answer myself.

That does look better. I guess you have to get the whole headlight units to change them.
@PetrolDave - what are the part numbers and costs etc.?

Not so sure you do, cloured cover looks like it would be easy to remove, issue maybe bulb holder as coloured indicator bulbs usually have off set pins

You have to oven bake the headlight to loosen the glue, pull the light apart and pop the lens out. Stick the lamp back together before the glue cools too much.
You can get the silver buls that light up orange quite easy these days with pins opposite rather than offset

Just taken delivery of my new RS4 and it has clear indicators, the out going RS4 had orange and must say the new clear indicators look much better. I wasnt given any option on clear or orange, so I assume that all the new cars will have clear indicators from now on?

I'm not so sure about the clear lenses.
I have the Sprint Blue and like the orange lenses. Think it gives a bit of a nice contrast to the bling colour!
Maybe on the Daytona or Black the clear maybe nicer though...
