In South Africa we get free service and full warranty for 3 yrs or 100K Km's. Just had my B7 in for first service 15K - Audi replaced the clutch which I did not request and it felt fine to me. Is there something with the clutches that Audi knows and we don't???

Die M3, there is a known intermittent problem with a hydraulic hose pipe in the clutch, it can collapse under pressure, mine is being replaced today. So it is probably just preventive maintenance. When I floor it the clutch goes stiff as hell.
