Selling it!

Well, I have made the decision, and my much loved RS4 saloon will be sold before Christmas. If anyone is interested in a black saloon, 10k, with tech pack, sunroof, sports suspension plus, phone, heated rear seats and sports front seats let me know.
At the moment I have an offer of £47k which seems ok judging from what everyone is saying on this forum.
My repacement car will be a diesel estate!! I had the p*ss severely taken out of me in my local last night. It's actually a new BMW330d sport touring in Le Mans blue with loads of extras. The wife is very happy about this which just confirms that I have made a stupid choice.
I am number 1 on the list at my BMW garage for the new M3 so it will be a short term measure.
The RS4 has been great and I really enjoyed thrashing around Europe but I feel frustrated having 420PS whilst constanly stuck in British traffic jams.
The touring will be my 28th car in 17 years of motoring, and my 1st diesel.
It seems that no matter how good a car is, I always crave for a change
after 6-9 months and rarely do I regret the change, apart from the financial implications!

Seems the trend of changing from an RS4 to a Bmw oil burner is spreading!!

So let me get this straight, you were beat by a 330d in your RS4?

I'm from the states so I don't know what the 330d is capable of. But are you seriously switching because you feel that car is better?

Color me highly confused...

no Ben, he is just stating that in his 'local' pub, he was mocked for buying a diesel instead of the RS4. From some performance figures i have seen, the 330d actually does around 150mph and 0-60 in 6.7 sec, so for an oil burner it is fairly rapid though.
