When ben and i wnt for the Audi experence day at Silverstone was quite horrified after blasting about in the RS6 we natuarly left the engine running to allow th turbos to cool but was told by the instructor after we explaine why we had left car running to turn it off due to the fuel consuption, and these i wooulthink are now all sold on so if you have a black RS6 saloon with the optics pack i would be checking out it's history.
I would think thay would be simmarly ragged

Went on this a few weeks ago, and totally agree that it was well worth the money.
You may well hear of some black ex-demo RS4's to go with the red ones..although the cars used are apparently serviced after every session.

Yeah right.
When Brooner and myself did it the guy told us not to bother letting the turbos cool down on the RS6's, just switch them off and save petrol
It was a good day out, I fully agree - especially if you don't take it seriously and it's soaking wet

I see the seats are starting to look knackered.

Jezzer, you picked up my thought .. perhaps we should obtain the vins, so rs246 users don't buy them ...

I think the main concern would be the fact that the cars are driven hard from day one, and even if well maintained have not had been run in beforehand.
I looked at a black RS6 saloon with optics pack about six months ago at a dealers...stunning car, but near miss maybe??

I am sure Audi will be impressed with this.......... site sponsors and all......
As a point of fact, the cars used by Audi Experience are never re-sold to the general public, that question has been asked many years ago.

I am suprised by that. What happens to them then I wonder?
I've seen many ex-Audi UK Misano RS6's for sale over the years, I presumed that they must have been cars from the Driving Experience.
BMW has no problem selling it's ex-Rockingham CSL's to the public, that's for sure
Cheers
