Blinding headlights

Does anyone else here suffer from continual reminders, flashing/fog lamps, that they have their full beam headlights on when infact they don't?

Every night drive I do has at least one and generally more and i'm getting paranoid.

I use to think it was just that I had bright xenon headlights but now I'm wondering about their adjustment.

I do have adaptive headlights on my car but this is purely horizontal movement not vertical.

I would take it to your local garage and get the ajustment checked i had this on my S4 had to get re ajusted and form memory i don't think it needs to be that far out to dazzel on coming traffic with the xennos

I do a lot of night driving, and have always had this in the time I've had xenons (B5 & B6 S4). Audi xenons do seem to be the brightest out there - passing TTs seem to be the worst culprits. If you notice, entering a slow right hand motorway bend, an oncoming car with xenons as it hits you with it's nearside beam direction is very bright (almost like full beam), but you soon work out it's xenons.

90% of the time I'm sure it's just people gutted they haven't got xenons

I must admit that I've been getting this quite a lot as well.
I just put it down to the brightness of the lights as I wouldn't expect a brand new car's lights to be adjusted incorrectly.

You want to try driving my little Lupo GTi at night. Very short wheelbase plus tiny bumps equals headlights shining way up there...
