Insurance - Any really RS4 friendly companies out there?

Just got my renewal through from Elephant, £748 ... Tried confused.com and found Admiral (who own elephant) are quoting £648 (getting better)!

Anyone offering really competitive deals at the moment? 35, good postcode, 11 years NCB, no points (how did that happen), tracker, 10k miles with business class one .. I would have thought I could have got a better deal than that but maybe I'm just dreaming?

Any suggestions?

That seems very good anyway. just insured mine yesterday with Privlege, 36 full NCB protected, 3 points, 1 accident, garaged with tracker. £749. NU wanted 1500 and AA, after their 'supposed'15% online discount, wanted over £3K :bash:

This seems like an excellent quote! I was very happy with £1157 based on full no claims discount (65%), tracker, £600 excess, reasonable Cheshire postcode and 34 years old.

Im with direct line..
Tracker, 7 Years NCB, Garaged, 24 years old, decent'ish area.
£1200.. (they wouldn't quote me first, but then spoke to the underwriters, and because i'll hit the majic 25 half way through the year, they agreed to honour the usual 25 year old quote..)

Which was good, as i assumed they would and only got round to checking it a while before delivery, and nearly had a heart attack when the first desk jockey refused me!

Direct Line for me for my last 3 cars currentley paying around £550, 12 years claim free, undergorund car park, london sw postcode, tracker & £1000 excess. Tesco dont seem to come out too bad as well, if you call direct line rather than setup on internet should get better deal.

For anyone lucky enough to own a few high performance cars try First Point who do multiple car and generally work with Zurich 'Private Clients'. I am looking at the new RS4 after having the first one a couple of years ago and they were always cheaper than anyone else although Tesco were very cheap the first year I tried them but tried to sell a 40% rise the next year!

Hmmm, I am currently paying approx £1700 to insure my RS4 and I thought that was pretty good! 6 years NCB, guaranteed, 29 years old, not too bad postcode, parked on the street... oh and 6 points :( which were acquired in my first 6 months ownership of a 911 a few years ago.

Although moving house shortly and the postcode is better, car will be garaged... should reduce the bill to about £1400.

Thanks for everyone's suggestions :D !!! In the end Elephant matched the best deal I could get with £613 and were very considerate about the Miltek exhaust (extra few quid) that is planned (thanks Sutters) ... 8) excess was the best too at £250
