I'd love to know the answer to this one. I reckon the RS4 could be a bit of a depreciation disaster but others disagree. Have you called up any buyers to get straight sale prices?

Sorry, I was talking about the Cab. The reviews have not been great, the car is £10k more than a saloon and big engined convertibles often struggle used - look at the S4 Cab which is not an easy car to sell on whereas S4 Avants sell reasonably easily. I'd look at one at £40k but at £60-65k I struggle to see why people would bother.

I am not an authority on car values but that is far to low for the cab, I also feel they are slightly overpriced but from the audi site they seem to be holding price.

Selling a cab at this time of year will not be clever anyway. Prices will naturally drop during the winter and will be more difficult to sell.
Merlot, the cab is not £10k more than the saloon of the same spec. Add in the Sat Nav and other options and it's about £7.5k difference. But then softtops are always dearer than the hardtop equivalent - except Boxster/Cayman.

Agree on the sat nav but looking at the S4 Saloon/Cab premium and paying the extra to top up the S4 Cab to sat nav+, I still expected the RS4 Cab to be c£3k less. As an ex 987S Boxster owner I also find the Boxster/Cayman differential strange but, interestingly, the Cayman now books in Glass's and the premium remains used as well as new.
I might be looking towards an S5 Cab in a couple of years time. It will be interesting to see how that looks price wise viz a viz a used RS4 Cab.
PS Just realised that S5 on a German car could be mistaken for a historic military statement.

But those Audi centre prices are just the asking price...and probably don't bear much relation the purchase price/value of the RS4 cab.
Nice car, but £60+k for an A4 with scuttle shake....

I'm sure there will be some discount from advertise price but certainly not that much, I've not seen many for sale not even on timesonline. Find me a convertible sports car without scuttle shake...

4 seaters shake more than 2 - try a 987 Boxster or current shape SL. I've owned both and they shake much much less than the S4 Cab I now have.

How about a proper 4 seater cab Gareth? Not a 2 seater roadster.
