Sound of water in the boot lid

Has anyone come across this one before?
Today when I opened the boot, I could hear what sounded like water inside the boot lid, sloshing and falling through to the bottom of it as the lid was raised. It sounded just like water, but on checking all the welds, it looks OK, ie no signs of any places where any fluids could have got in. Any ideas? Planning on going to the stealers tomorrow morning.

I thought these cars were not made to be driven in the rain
Seriously there is a member who posted in the Adui world forum with the same problem. He opened the drain plugs. I would be worried about corrosion....

Took the car down this morning to the local stealers who said they'd never come across this type of problem before and the car's been booked in.
Short term can't really see it being an issue as the inside panels are I think all waxed up, but it still leaves you with a nagging doubt about the quality control on a car costing £50K...

Dont talk rubbish it is obviously a fault in the build which I am sure can be rectified, to say they cant be driven in the rain well!

Get them to check the seals on the back of the lights in the boot lid.... water can be forced down through this when driven in hard rain, and to compound this, the drain holes in the corners of the boot lid get blocked with...... antirust wax....
