As far as my experience goes, it's a load of b*llocks really. Yes, your car is slightly more shiney for the first few weeks, but I've used several 'polymer' type polishes (Zaino springs to mind) that give the same results for a lot cheaper.

Oh, and I'm curious to know if the dealer gives you an (apocryphal?) story about one of his customers spilling an indian meal on the carpet, but it all coming off without a trace thanks to Supagard.....I've heard the same story from three different dealers!

Just my 0.02p's worth...

James

Moral of story, always put a plastic bag in the boot to sit your indian on.......... dont bother, you can spend money on far better products...

Supaguard is a complete waste of money. I had it once on a BMW after a very hard sell from the saleman. I later found out that the salesmen get £50 each time it is opted for.
On a similiar note, I tried out a "Mer" alloy wheel polish and it seems to work really well. The RS4 brakes really spew out a lot of break dust and at £7 it's money well spent!
