I have been enjoying my RS4 (B7) for 5 months now. Previously ran a RS6 saloon. The RS4 is a black saloon with black sports seats, s/r, suspension plus, tech pack and h/r/seats.
I am off to the N/Ring in a few weeks and I was wanting to de-retrict the limiter. Does anyone know where to contact? Last week I hit 160mph in 5th at 7,800 mph and no sign of the limiter. It may not apply to 5th gear?

Welcome Stan :beerchug:

Any reputable tuner should be able to remove the limiter. I have heard that some BMWs are only limited in top gear, so it may apply to Audis too?

With a manual box I doubt the car knows what gear it is in. Probably speedo error

Doh! :bash: that's a fair point Mark, and now I think back to it, I think I was told this by an M3 CSL owner...

So you're probably right, although the B7 RS4 has some pretty fancy electronics, so it may be possible.

Quite correct, the limiter is only applied in 6th gear............ Audi is also quite liberal with its figures, B5 was to be limited to 165 mph but mine has hit 178 mph on gps, which showing as 185 on speedo....
