This is daytona grey with optics pack.















Have a pic of the rear somewhere, will add that on, as the exhausts are black'd out which makes it look a bit more aggressive..
think the optics pack looks good on the grey, but the black definitely suits the chrome bits..

If I had not gone for the black avant then those pictures have made me change my mind from the black saloon to the grey with optics.

Is it possible to retro fit the black optics pack?

I have daytona grey RS4 Saloon without and considered it in my options list but at that point there were no pics around. Love DG colour and think the optics pack give it just that little more aggressive edge.

It was actually a surprise when the car turned up and my exhaust tips were black too.. i would post a pic, but unfortunately my home pc has crashed and im going to have to retrieve all my info off the hard drive as some dumbass didn't backup anything!! (doh!)

My first posting on here for nearly 2 years!

(Well, after I got my S4 Cab, I didn't have that much to say - too busy enjoying myself!).

So, a brief hello is called for to all.....

Anyway, the reason for my posting, is I was really chuffed to see the photos of your car!

I've got an RS4 Avant on order for delivery in November, in Daytona, with black optics, black roof rails, and privacy glass.

Your photos reassured me that I made the right choice!!

Having said that, my current S4 is Dolphin Grey, I live at the end of a farm track, and it's a right b*gger to keep clean...never mind!

Someone said to me recently.. i thought i saw you blast passed the sharmans, but that wasn't me.. so presumed it must have been you!

Ive been leaving mine tucked up last few weeks too, been travelling in a company car, and have a merc c220 cdi arriving today, for an every day driver (mums car, but she did like 3k miles last year, so i will be nicking it most of the time!) so i think mine and yours are going to be the lowest mileage daytona grey Rs4's about!

I'm so glad I chose Daytona grey with Optics pack for my RS4 Avant due for delivery mid September. I've a A3 3.2 Q/SLine/DSG currently as the 'everyday' motor but will probably change to a A3/A4 Quattro oil burner in the near future.
