AndyA6 put a pic of an RS4 in Phantom Black on his post, nothing wrong with that! good pic, and makes the RS4 look very hard in deed, keep all the pics coming!!

But the numberplate was clearly visible in full.. and this was someone elses motor awaiting pickup, so prob not be a happy bunny if they saw this forum..
I know i wouldn't be.
I know 2 people now who have had their plates cloned and been sent NIP's and parking ticket warnings of non payment from the other side of the country! is an increasing crime, with a few RS4's going missing, the one way a thief could make this easier on themselves would be to come onto a Rs4 owners site such as this, find a pic of a car same colour as the one they are planning to steal and copy the plate off it! simple.. would get them as far as required on a legit (unreported stolen car) plate!

The salesman was telling me that there is a delete option for virtually every unique RS aesthetic i.e. mirrors, chrome strips, badges etc.......

When I went to look at my car pre PDI, they had covered all of the badges up with black tape to hide the identity of the car. They said, that because a couple had been stolen pre delivery, then that was the advice from Audi UK. They also kept it inside at all times and hid the keys.

Did Audi have the same problems with crime when they released the B5 RS4? I don't understand why this car is attracting soooo much attention from car theives.

when reading the brochures and seeing the wheel option for the normal 18" wheels, i thought why would anyone in their right mind order those? i now understand really.. would do nothing for resale but would make the beast completely unnoticeable..
