suede bits

After mine and a few other peoples cars have turned up without the suede handbrake cover, although the full suede pack has been paid for, I have heard back from Audi today saying the handbrake cover is a miss print.
How should I take it from here, I know it's not massive in the scheme of things, but Audi are taking the line of "whoops sorry we'll just get the new brochures amended" no mention of any money back.
Am I right to want some money back or should I just leave it?

I think you are correct to pursue it. Probably falls under some standards body like advertising standards or DTI standards.
On a related note, interested in the number of reports that are putting the BHP at under 400. Wonder if there is small print that says 414 is an estimate! If it turns out the the car is under 400 then I think a lot of people are going to be very unhappy and this will be more serious than the suede reduction! Warm up their legal department on that one first
cheers,

I'm concerned about this too ,I was a bit worried about dropping down to 414bhp from a 480bhp RS4 avant and if it turns out to be under 400 I will be well pissed off.
Waiting till I've got about 5000 miles b4 a rolling road visit in the new one .

I agree, I am going to really mad if the final bhp number are under 400. Why would they claim such numbers (420 or 414bhp) if the real production models would all fall 10%-15% below estimates? Didn't they test this engine before they released it to magazines? WTF Audi!

could the nice people at the specialised tuning houses comment on the true BHP output of the new B7 RS4? I did read somewhere on this board that one of them (Miltek I think) are prototyping an exhaust system, i would imagine that if they are to market it and talk about any possible BHP gain it might give you, they would need to have rolling roaded an RS4 to do so?
Just a thought.

back to the suede bits, audi have got back to me and they are making them up for everyone who ordered them, if you ask. Ring audi customer services and ask for edward on the rs4 desk and he will do the rest. 6 weeks lead time though
