i placed an order for an avant 2 months ago.
I was hoping to move to the continent with work, thus enabling me to get a tax free purchase, meaning the car would only cost around the 45k figure.
The move has been put on hold, probably not until Jan

My dilemma and possible solutions which i would like all your advice on please:-

Do I-
A) take delivery of the car tax paid in Aug/sept and try to sell it on at delivery(as some unscrupulous dealers have donw with the saloon)?

B) try to delay my delivery with the dealer to co-incide with my later work move

or
C) Try to 'sell' on my current deposit\order and place in the list(2nd at this particular dealer behind 'tanoga'


sensible opinions greatly appreciated.

Option B would be my choice in your situation.

I would try and delay the delivery. Can't you ask the dealer to move you down the list to number 3 or 4 and then those at 3 and 4 could move up 1 place(the chance is those people would be well happy with that)

yeah, but in an ideal scenario, we could cruise out of the dealership at the same time (though i think my mugello would be somewhat overshadowed by the imola eh mate!)

Due to the fact i have changed to silver recaros, my delivery may well be put back anyway
