Ok.... Who has problems with the fact that you have to press the remote twice to open any other door other than the driver's door? Gets me every time!!!!!!!!! I'm just a simple boy - used to 4 years in a B5 with just the one touch needed....
I just wanted other people's opinions:?:

I believe you can use VAG to change it to one-touch unlocking of all doors. I don't know the code for the B7 RS4 though.

Well it gets me every time as well ... I guess it's a safety feature so you don't get carjacked by someone walking past the passenger side

Can also be changed by pressing the lock and unlock buttons together on the remote for three seconds.............

Was the way to cancel single opening on VW's, obviously Audi have changed the programming, take the car to the dealer, three minutes with Vag Com and they can change the programme to open all doors.

The Bora works that way too.. I quite like it.... Makes sense to me, If Im the only person getting in then I only want my door open.... but yes it takes a little getting used to..... I even had to work on my timings to get it right when I did want to open all the doors.... quite happy with it now, I actually prefer it to singe push now.......

Most new cars operate their door fobs in this way. Certainly, Jag, Mercedes, SAAB do.
