Was informed by my dealer today, that the shiny red RS4 which was the first presold demo at their dealership and was used to showcase for two weeks, was delivered to the customer on March 1st, and was stolen by March 3rd.
Didn't just take that, but took two other car as well.
Hope it wasn't anyone on here, feel really sorry for him, imagine waiting all that time and having it pinched before you've even run it in!!
Barstewards.. deserve to be shot..
Audi dealership where the car came from are now advising all purchsers to fit trackers and take every care possible to ensure safety of their vehicles and themselves. Is worrying, but you hear stories about premium motors going missing when they first get released, pro thieves stealing to order.. etc
i heard a similar story about the range rover sport when i was looking at buying one.. be careful guys, and watch who's in your rear view mirror when you take your motors home. .. Pays to be paranoid!

Yep - really f**** me off as well - im really tempted to order an RS4 Avant but have this worry in the back of my mind, especially as it will be my wife using it with kids in the car.
Really wish we lived in a perfect world and could own what ever we wanted without the low life spoiling things.
Was watching road Wars on the BBC last night as well and that didnt make me feel any better either

If the punishment for stealing a car was to chop off the offender's goolies, car crime would almost disappear overnight. And I've got to say I'm all for it.

I remember my first week of b5 ownership.... I had someone following me home one night. After a few detours this way, and a few detours that way, foot hard on the gas, and flashing blues in the rear view 10 seconds later....Undercover plod!!

I had somebody taking pictures of the back of my car with a camera phone yesterday while at traffic lights. Its probably an innocent admirer but I went a roundabout route home nevetheless. Pays to be paranoid. Ordered Traker Echo two days ago, 2-3- weeks before fitting, I hope I've still got the car by then.

Actually its £899 fitted. Although trying to get it fitted is proving an uphill battle.
It also has one of those fobs you keep with you, so if it isn't within a few metres of the car when its moving, they call you and check if its stolen.
