Where are the cancelled orders?

Hello Guys,
Just come across this forum, and am in need of your assistance. Had a test drive today, and would like a car sooner rather than later. Was told by the dealer would be lucky to get into a car (to my spec) this year, and most probably would be 2007. Can any one give me some pointers where there are any physical cars or cancelled orders, or even unused allocations for delivery in the not too distant future? Please PM me if you prefer, and thanks in advance.

All the Best
Bernard :D

Bernard,

If you don't have any luck with Crewe, give Alvin at Pentraeth Audi a call (01248718247). I spoke to him earlier today and they have a Phanton Black saloon with black leather RS Buckets, matt ali interior trim, teck pack, TV, GSM phone, sunroof etc (approx £55k) which is available immediately.

If you want the one at Kidlington, get some money off for the paintwork...

Thanks for all your replies, much appreciated.
So far no luck, Crewe Audi only have their demo available (Sprint Blue) later in the year, Pentraeth Audi have sold the Phantom Black car to another dealer (gutted as that was perfect colour & spec), Doncaster have sold the Misano car & Kidlington's Phantom black car is available in September for £5,000 premium over list. No thanks. Still waiting to hear from Peter Gilders about the Daytona car.

Please keep 'em coming and PM me if you prefer.

All the best

Bernard,

I don't think dealers are allowed to sell cars above list

If it's a used car they can, in theory, charge what they want...

But it's pretty poor show and also indicates they have no bloody idea about the market/pricing/customer awareness of being fleeced...

I had a long chat with the salesman about the specific car at Kidlington and asked him that exact question, as Gareth says, if it's used they can name their price just like a private sale. Is it worth 5k over list? Not bloody likely, it looked 'used' which is pretty sloppy really, grubby alloys etc. Will someone pay it? Probably as they've already turned down an £8k premium by some nutter who wanted it immediately.
