RS4 Supercharged

I have heard that AMG are making a supercharger kit for the new RS4. If will be available in about 2 months and will take the BHP up to over 600. The bonnet has to have a hump in it to take the extra kit. I have heard this from AMG and from a potential customer of theirs so watch this space.

have a look at this, there is a conversion allready out there for a B7 s4 Cabrio, The RS4 conversion must be similar.

I wouldn't have thought AMG would touch an Audi. Mercedes would surely look at that as a serious conflict of interests?

Thought AMG was bought out by Daimler-Chrysler a few years back and is now officially Mercedes own-brand tuning house. I can't believe they'd develop a supercharger conversion for an opposition either.
I thought they were locked in a power war with audi and BMW and are moving away from supercharging with the development of their new high revving 6.3 V8.

I heard supercharging such a highly tuned na engine is causing issues for mtm.

I would think they would have issues relating to the high rpms that the RS4 can achieve - that supercharger is gonna have to be one strong unit!!

bit of a problem with the warranty 2 Id say. Would be a big job removing it every time u need a service.

Perhaps they meant to say AMD development, and not AMG. Common mistake that.
