RS4 Kerbweight

Not sure whether I am missing something here, but am sure I will be put straight if I am. The quoted kerbweight of the RS4 is 1650KG. I have a B6 S4 and the quoted kerbweight of that is also 1650KG. Therefore, why has there been no weight saved over the S4 from using aluminium body parts, lightweight seats etc?
