Hey All,

On a recent business trip to the US I picked up a copy of Road & Track (Sept 2005), the US equivalent to Car, EVO etc etc...bear with me.....was reading a full page article on the RS4 (B7) due in the US late 2006.

Anyhow some of the apparent features of the of the European RS4 (according to the magazine) were:

- the Minus One option (no cost) 18 inch alloys....boring but the next one had me laugh my RSoff (pardon the pun)

- quote "....Euro seating is different as well. Curiously, back seat Euro-types must roll down their windows, as only the front ones are electrically activated" unquote

C'mon lads tell me it ain't so in a £50k+ car

Sounds like a marketing thing to me............. I expect the european cars will have all the bells and whistles, the US spec cars will have all these things as a cost option..............

No, it says in the standard spec that the RS4 has power windows all round!

1) Audi wouldn't be so stupid as to have wind up's in the rear of a £50,000 car
2) It is now more expensive to fit wind up's than fit power windows.. hence you see power windows in all budget models like fords and stuff.

My thoughts too....and I'll let you know when my car arrives in the US
