DSG Option
Does anyone have 'inside' knowledge if DSG will be an option, and if so, when?

RE: DSG Option
DSG will NOT be on a B7 RS4.
MY2008 is when all Porsche and Audi cars will debut DSG trannies on longitudally mounted motors.
The Buggatti Veyron and the new S6 is testing the next gen 7 speed DSG.
The B7 RS4 will not be in production long enough to recieve it.
Unless they decide to do a small run at the end, like an RS6+.

According to my dealer, the current position on the RS4 Avant is that Audi UK have setup a central registration website where dealers can register name and address details of customers but do not require a deposit at this time. When the launch date and more details of the Avant become available then Audi will ask for deposits but until this time they don't recommend the taking of deposits. I've registered my name for an Avant and no deposit was required.hunty wrote:Thats a shame, because Audi UK have taken £1500 deposit off me for a RS4 Avant with a Tiptronic box, should it become available!
Looks like they are going to be sat on my money for a while!
