Morning mate, click on any of the RS4 threads then scroll to the bottom of the page and select "more photos".
Next click on the Red RS4 and flick through the slide show and you will see the car in silver.
Cheers

I have to say I think the red one on the stand at Geneva looks poo.

Perhaps it'll look better in the flesh...(damn, it better had do!) - the black one in the spy photos (ones taken at the ring) looks much nicer. The lightweight wheels look too BMW to me..

Can't see myself changing unless the avant is something very special...

In the article the B7 RS4 will have 9 colours to choose from at Launch.

Silver.......does not look like Avus
Red.........Not sure if its Missano
Black......best looking colour yet IMHO
Yellow......Imola?
Blue......Dont think it looks like Nogaro either.

What are the remaining colours then?

Through Audis unique paint scheme....you can have it in any colour you like....same for the interior as per the silver RS4 at Geneva with a shadow Aluminium trim.

With the B5, Goodwood Green was the hardest colour to sell on but since they did'nt do a dark blue they was not much choice of interesting colours.
Maserati GranTurismo GTS Auto, S3 Sportback, TT2 3.2 Roadster, Disco3 for the heavy stuff.

I know... yet never understood why. If I could have any colour goodwood would come third after dark blue and black. Think it looks nice. But it would be very boring and a little bit disturbing if we all wanted the same colour.

RS4 at Geneva press day

Post by go4broke » Fri Mar 04, 2005 7:59 pm

The wait was not worth it. Until I get a test drive it's not fair to judge but it's not a car I would even want to see in my garage, it's too ugly. The RS type styling has lost the business like aggressive while modest shape. The car looks heavy and it sat high on its wheels. The front has the weird bass fish mouth and combined with the new headlights, it looks like the car is having a hard time finding the road. The sides have too much creased metal and the rear looks pinched off with Asian style like tail lights running onto the trunk lid. Unlike the RS6 engine layout, the new RS4 presentation looks complicated with several accessories stuck on. 420 hp and only 430 Nm of torque is another disappointment. FSI, big deal!
The interior is nice and the new seats are better than the RS6. I'm sure the car will be fun to drive but on the autobahn at 250+ the high reving engine will be tough on the car's occupants.
Too bad they just didn't take the previous A4 and stuff it with all the goodies we Quattro junkies appreciate, like turbos for starters. I think that a woman with a taste for speed will love this new RS4.
By the way, who designed the AUDI stand? All the cars were in the same silver paint color except the RS4 on the stand which was red (there was a silver RS4 on the floor to play with). The stand + cars looked dull and even the usually cute models looked embarrassed and bored.

I'm afraid to say the more I see it, the less I like it. Unless this thing drives one hell of a lot better than it looks I don't want one. The only thing I'll have is the the front seats for my B5. Looking at some pics of the B5 RS4 I just want mine even more. Looks like I'm going to have her for a while which is a good thing for my bank balance. Pwheeee...

Saw it yesterday and had a good look round.......well I would say that it is uninspired, it looks like a opel vectra from a distance, the arches are not as flared as the B5 and the interior had a very plastic feel to it.....

NO THANKS AUDI

Did have nice wheels but I bet they bend easy!!!!!
