How much for the new RS4 in the UK?

What's the latest thinking on where Audi UK will pitch the new RS4 price wise??
Personally I'm thinking around £44,995 for the saloon and another £1k for the avant, or £48k+ with a decent spec....strikes me as too much potentially, especially if they over supply, causing redsiduals to crumble....

And the rest.... 50k plus I reakon. And too much for me unless it was limited numbers.

50K is just too much. Means Avant will be over 50. I agree with Gareth but I bet bobjebb is right.
i paid 48K for my RS4 with extras like sunroof. Can't remember what base price was.

base price was £46k IIRC. Invoice value for mine was about 52K fully loaded i think

£50k is a big physcological barrier for me people buying this kind of car IMO, hence I think it will be just under and comparable to a fully specced M3.
I think the chance of the numers being limited to under 1,000 units in year 1 (2006) is slim to sod all...

Dealer has told me somewhere between 50 and 60K

Therefore it's a dead duck IMHO
No way anyone would pay over £50k for a new RS4....if Audi UK price it like that they are in big trouble...
At that price I'd just buy nice '04 RS6 avant...

Got to agree that £50,000 is a big barrier.. I would have to question what I am getting for 50K
It's well into Porsche territory

I'd guess at 10k more than the S4's, which are 37k saloon and 38k avant. What was the B5 RS4 over the B5 S4 ?
So with base prices of 47k and 48k, plus all the extras, they look very expensive to me.
45k + for an Audi A4 ...

Think I'd rather buy another S4 avant and take £3k into AmD for a stage III upgrade and then spend £1k on some nice wheels and a short shift kit.....
RS4....no thanks...

Despite what my dealer has suggested circa £50k,i would be more inclined to go with Davids figures.
I think my the time you add on options the total cost could well be over £55k.
19" lightweight alloys........5 spoke numbers look a bit like they came Halfords.
Full leather throughout.......not keen on the standard trim.
Comfort pack.....bit of a cheek charging for cruise and heated seats.
Sat-nav.........not really bothered about this, but would help sell the car on.
Electric sunroof.....Something i would like on the car.
Sports suspension.......not sure.
Folding exterior mirrors......would take these.
Centre arm rest.....might be in the comfort pack.
It does smack of buying a BMW and having to spec it up to get a half decent car

ps anyone care to take a guess with the cost of the wheels?
I would reckon £1500+

Didn't prior RS models come pretty much loaded ?
I was under the impression, that there aren't too many features that are options, it's pretty much loaded. Just pick your color and maybe wheels ?
I understand offering 'options' on an S model, but an RS model ?

The last RS4 came with a pretty high level of spec as standard Kurt, the new model seems to be offering some equipment that was standard on the B5 RS4 as cost options on the new B7 model ie heated seat and cruise control.
How much are you expecting the B7 RS4 saloon to cost in the States?

This could be a deal breaker.....options list as long as...and as expesnive as Porsche.
Poverty Spec.....no limited production numbers and still no price. I am having second thoughts.
