new rs4 limited no
new rs4 limited no
i think the most important thing to me and many other people who may look to buy the new rs4 is its limited number,as the rs2 and rs4 have been limited they hold value very well compared to s models and other manufacturers.it is great to buy a new car of this sort of value and know at the start of its life it will increase in value and then hold it very well for years after.i am disapointed that the rs4 will be released in a saloon model and think that the rs has been branded an estate to beat the competition, with comfort and practicality built in.this is why it works for me anyway.if i could afford to have an aston in the garage and a family car on the drive fine, but i cant so the rs4 is great.
when and how can we find out if the new rs will be limited no,as i think this will be the decider for me as the old rs4 will hold better value IMO

I'll stick my neck out here!
The reason I have kept my nogaro B5 S4 saloon for so long (albeit with KO4's, full Milltek, H&R etc courtesy of AMD to now produce a tad under 400bhp and a load of useable torque) is that as much as I admire the B5 RS4 and agree it is a formidable machine, I do not want an estate car.
I am waiting and hoping that they will produce a nogaro RS4 B7 saloon otherwise it's RS6 saloon for me and ideally the wife gets my S4 to replace her TT.
There, that has surely stirred things up a bit but I am sure there is a market for RS4 saloons!

I'm sure there's a market for them, but keeping the RS as Avant maintains the single bloody mindedness of the breed. An RS should be a sly estate that will shock anyone who underestimates it.
That's just my opinion though, but I just have far too much fun with the majority (note: not all but most
) of BMW drivers who try to bully you out of the way and then cry when left in your dust

2001 Avus Silver RS4, APRacing 6pots - Gone, but not forgotten

are you listening audi.
well if they do release this b7 rs4 saloon and release it before the estate i hope they are saving a special surprise for us estate lovers, maybe a little extra bhp over the saloon.or something special to set the two apart, and keep the avant the rs brand to as you say take on the porsche ect.

If you guys want an elite limited car then Audi is not the brand. Loads of people said the TT should have been stopped while there were limited numbers around. I can't see it happening. The RS4 will be a popular car and not an ultra elite model. However I think numbers will be limited by the price!!

Irony
The ironic twist is that the sedan might actually become the exclusive RS4.
Lower numbers, lighter weight, low-key, why not.

Similar policy to the RS6, then? In which case, the RS4 will probably become more common than the 6, at a lower price and with a more sporting character.Scotty wrote:The RS4 will be a popular car and not an ultra elite model. However I think numbers will be limited by the price!!
