new RS4 will be exposed in Geneva 2005

Post by Carl » Fri Mar 19, 2004 12:04 pm

Howdy guys!

the new RS4 will exposed in Geneva next year. It will have some very nice features, but they just told me about the new brake system, which will have a so called "forced ventilation". They will munt some air ducts which shove air right onto the disc. I will try to get some information next week maybe. this week they are testing the suspension on the test track in papenburg, germany.

Sounds good.
Hopefully not hot air out of the intercooler vents again though

When you place an order with the dealer, all you are doing is getting to the front of the queue for that dealer/franchise. Until Audi UK open their order books, the "order" isn't a placed order.

Honda CBR1100XX Super Blackbird
Suzuki GSXR1000 (Track bike)

German paper 'AutoBild' points towards light-revving NA V8 and 420bhp, available mid-2005 as saloon, manual 'box. :?

Well I hope its NOT an FSI engine. They sound like diesels. Saloon only ? No thanks.

It looks like we WILL all be keeping our RS4's

They claim it will be FSI, indeed. As for the body, they quote it will be first produced as saloon, thus implying a later estate version. No news on US release yet, although such an engine sounds US-savvy to me.
