Hello, recently bought a b7 Avant with pretty high mileage. Looks from service history like it was well looked after but the previous owner was very ill and didn't drive it much/at all for 6 months or so.
EPC light is on and the check engine light, but was told that they had it looked at and the specialist said they would go out after a long drive as it's due to carbon build up on a sensor.
Car drives perfectly and gives no cause for concern. Is there validity in this diagnosis or is this something else?
Does anyone know of any specialists in North Wales?
Cheers

Turns out one of the intake flaps is stuck open.
