Hi Everyone - had an unexpected flat battery the other day then totally flat again - diagnosed a 3Amp current draw when the car should have been asleep. Locked it with the glovebox open and the cd changer stayed lit . - Resolved with removal of telephone fuse. After some research I assumed that the Bluetooth telephony module had failed - so got one and pulled up the passenger seat, b pillar trim and carpet - only to find the comfort module - am I right in presuming I have taken out the wrong seat - ie it is under the drivers seat in a rhd - module I found in a plastic box was 8e0 959 433ch, replacement I have id 8po862335h - suspect it is from another Audi model
Thanks as always for your advice and assistance
battery drain / telephony module location
Re: battery drain / telephony module location
The module was under the drivers seat in a rhd car - fitted the replacement - telephony worked but current drain persisted - cd player lights stayed on when locked and should have been asleep.
Further module with last letter K fitted and now I think all is well - current drain when locked down to .06A which hopefully is normal

Re: battery drain / telephony module location
In a lhd car the comfort module is under the driver seat (left) and the bluetooth module under the passenger seat (right)
I have shots of it in my rollcage prep video:
