Manual says drop sub frame.

Anyone tried without? I can see the top bolt, understand the captive nut may spin, but anyone been successful?

Probably worth dropping the fuel tank whilst you are in there and getting some underseal on the DRC lines that run over the top of the tank/subframe? My old ones were in a right state (along with the rest of the underside)!!!

I managed to get hold of some of the rear suspension arms, links, bushes etc from Autodoc

As mentioned, unfortunately it will require complete Rear Subframe drop and removal to install components - at which point - may as well tackle the surface rust and corrosion on the rear chassis and subframe - so pretty big job

At this point.. I just want to get the RS back on the road, having been off the road for several months..

So, I'll have to formulate a plan later in the year / probably next year to tackle this...

Nice, my bushed are ok for now, when removing the springs i had to take one end of the arm off so could feel the bushes and all ok for at least a few years of my low mileage driving....

Can see one day i will drop the sub frame, for now ive treated it in place and its not looking too bad.
