Rear Spring Broken

Post by lugars4 » Tue Feb 20, 2024 10:24 pm

What is the correct part number?

Getting conflicting info. Audi advised 8E0511115FM. 1 Grey 2 Brown marks

My originals are what appears to be 8E0511115DM. Ive visually checked and they are 1 Green 1 Blue Mark

This site suggests that DM was Superceded by FM

This site suggests both are avaialble and the DM is for Avant/Cabrio and FM is for a Cabrio.... Neither Saloon?

This site suggests DM was superceded by FM as well.

Just a bit unsure fitting springs with different colour markings....

To be on the safe side if it's still available i'd get the same as the original one.

Or buy two and replace both sides with the superseded one.
