Replacing the head unit
Hi I looked at some head units and quite like the Kenwood DMX8019DABS could anyone tell me what other bits I would need for it and will all original speakers and sub etc still work ok

Wiring adapter harness (make sure you get the correct 1 for the OE fitted to your car) & double din facia adapter plate/panel.

Did you have the Bose system? I got the ctkau04 kit but I didnt seem to get any power

I've just fitted the DMX8019DABS to my car. I had it working with Bose first of all then remove the Bose and added a DSP Amp and new speakers.
I had the same problem when I first wired it up with Bose. You need to make sure the blue remote turn on wire is connected from the head unit to the quadlock loom. That turns on the Bose amp in the boot.
