MRC Tuning brake skim damage?

Post by Revorocks » Tue Sep 13, 2022 3:31 pm

Just got mine back from having a bunch of work done and have just noticed the front brake discs. It was suffering from judder so they suggested fixing a lip on the fronts which I agreed.
Now I'm no expert, but are they meant to look like this? They did look like this on collection as well (minus the rust).
Sorry about the rust, have been away for the weekend and it was raining, just took it round the block to get some of it off but rust beside, they are extremely pitted with gouges all over now. They were smooth before.
Rears werent skimmed for comparison and thats how the front ones used to look...)

Don't think skimming will leave a super smooth surface, doesn't answer your question I know, but I was curious about the meat left on the bone..
