Exhaust Smoke

Post by WRS4 » Sun Jun 26, 2022 10:46 am

I was at a car shoe not long ago where there wa a rev off for the queens jubillee and although i knew my car smoked a bit especially as the rs4 burns oil, i do think its worse than i thought so what could this be?

General driving and changing gears ect the car doesnt seem to smoke, but if i am stuck in say a traffic jam for more than 5 minutes i get what i think is alot of white smoke, or when revving as i did at the car show its a bit black with some white lol very confusing

i did see other cars smoke a bit too but i do think mine is excessive so just wondered what this is so i could look into getting it fixed later in the year

cheers all

If you are using a lot of oil, i can recommend using Fuchs Titan Pro S.

I don’t use any oil between yearly services ever since changing, it doesn’t even move on the dipstick.

first thing to do is change the oil and filter.
did mine a few weeks back and smoke free at the mo. give it a few months and I'll have the first start smoke again. just how it is..
