Hi,

I bought an RS4 B7 last year in October and about 4 months ago a chime sounds in the back when I first drive.

Happens about 50% of the time and is always right as I pull away from my house and go down the road in first gear. Chimes 3-4 times then stops. Sometimes chimes another 3 times a few seconds later then stops again and I won’t hear it for the rest of the drive.

I have no idea what it is. Seems to come from the back and plays even when the stereo is off.

Checked and it’s not seatbelts, doors are all closed, handbrake all the way down etc.
I’ve been trying to capture it for months but it always stops right before I manage to record however I finally caught it yesterday.

Can anyone tell me what this is?

Never mind I finally worked it out the second I posted that.
I have an AirTag in the car and it plays that chime when it connects
