Rear Discs

Post by highrise » Fri Apr 22, 2022 8:39 pm

Hi,

My discs and pads are very much due for a replacement, both front and rear.

I was planning to go with this lot (which seems to be the consensus on the forum).

Front - Brembo (https://www.autodoc.co.uk/brembo/7611764)
Rear - Pagid ( https://www.roadtrackraceparts.com/pagi ... 7-rs4.html )
Pads - Ferodo DS2500 (https://www.jdl-brakes.com/catalog/product/view/id/6924)

I think my sensors have been shorted out, so don't plan to replace them.

Presuming all that is correct, quick questions.

1. Does anyone know of any deals on at the moment? Please let me know as it all turns out bloody expensive.
2. I can't seem to find the rears in stock anywhere apart from eBay at crazy prices (any suggestions)?

Also, any words of comfort as I'm just facing my first bunch of large bills for the car ( I was warned but need to stay strong as I love it!)

Cheers

Hi,

Any leads on the rear discs, doesn't seem to be any in the UK?

Suspect you are right Ben, last time I looked late 2021 there were very few UK suppliers for the OEM Pagid discs.

Like many guys on here I opted for 2 piece Reyland rear discs & bells with a set of spare discs.

Hope you can track some down.

Thanks that really helps.

It looks like Reylands do have them with a bit of a lead time.

Guess its the Audi RS4 B7 Rear Two Piece Disc Replacement Kit
324x22mm Disc Kit that I'm looking for.

I plan to go for the Reyland rear discs when mine become due. The Genuine Audi ones are just silly prices and not seen the Pagid ones available anywhere.

Ordered some from Reyland.

Quick question.

Does anyone know the part number for the hub bolt, I presume this needs replacing at the same time?
