Post by brownm » Sat Feb 05, 2022 6:43 pm

Guys, appreciate there are not a huge number of cars fitted with Ceramics when new. For those that were have you replaced the discs and at what mileage? If not replaced yet what mileage is on your car?
Current: 2007 Daytona Grey Avant, factory fitted ceramics, solar sunroof, FBSW, bucket recaros, still running DRC & no modifications as yet!
Previous: 2006 Mugello Blue Saloon, sunroof, Koni suspension, H&R springs, 8/10 mm spacers, FBSW, bucket recaros

Mine had ceramics fitted at about 30,000 miles, currently on 180,000 and they were assessed as 20% worn recently

Amazing Intel there. Expensive option but perhaps cheaper than steel in the long run.

It gets better... I had the brake judder issue... so audi paid £9k of the cost and it only cost me £1,000 to have them fitted! Image
