HID lens fade - fix or replace?

Post by Silverfox42 » Sat Nov 20, 2021 2:22 pm

Hi,

The drivers side headlight lens on my B7 Cab is slowly discolouring to a more yellow/orange colour while the passenger side stays Xenon ‘white’. My bulbs are the same, and the ballasts and other bulbs etc working fine, so it appears the inside of the lens is oxidising or something like that.

Looking for advise on whether to either try and get this repaired, or source a replacement.

I cannot seem to find the right part number for a replacement unit, with some mystery over which part number has the right mounting for a tilt AND Swivel ballast unit.

Any help on sourcing the right unit or recommending an outfit that can remedy this would be most welcome.

Thanks

Dan
