Another weird A/C question

Post by Lewbo » Thu Jul 08, 2021 6:29 pm

So last month I got the AC working after fitting a new G65 sensor and regassed the system lovely cold A/C. However now it’s working but intermittently with the ECON light coming on strangely when I pull the button to close the window (with it closed already the light goes off again and the A/C will start working again ? I have a convertible and I wonder if the A/C switches off(ECON light on) If the roof is opened or a window is put down?. A/C pressure seems fine with no leaks? Any ideas??

I too have a 'vert and the heating controls have default to a roof off level and roof on level, which can - in theory - be set in either state.
Hard to find documentation on this, but it is how my car seems to operate. Same with the radio volume.
