Check to see if there is a stamp in the service book to confirm or find the service and find the Audi dealer. If not stamped I would be very dubious. Then ask the trader what Audi dealer he took it to. They will have an electronic record of a service and inspection if indeed it was taken there.

This leak should have appeared on any Audi health inspection report if it was present which begs the question why it wasn’t. Take it back to the Audi dealer to see if the service and inspection was indeed done there and put pressure on the trader.

Good luck

If you have to sort it yourself, take it to MRC in Banbury. I've had my RS4 over 9 years and use them for anything significant.

In my experience MRC know these cars better than audi these days (they've just given my car an overhaul, it was worth taking it down there from Newcastle)

Try CM Tuning in Batley. Chris recently did a de-flap on mine and really knows his stuff (he used to work at MRC).
