Ignition Coilpacks

Merry Christmas everyone, hope you've all had a good one.
I'm wondering if I should replace my coilpacks purely based on the age of the car and the fact they've never been changed? I don't have any fault codes for misfires, car runs fine (perhaps a bit stuttery for the first couple of miles from fully cold start but fine otherwise).
Just wondering if these should be replaced as a service item or if it ain't broke, don't fix it?
Also, would there be any benefit in fitting the R8 red coilpacks that Awesome GTi sell, or just stick to standard Bosch ones?
