Coilover conversion - labour time?

Post by TaPaKaH » Mon Sep 28, 2020 12:09 pm

Just a sanity check when talking to a garage:

When converting an RS4 B7 from a stock DRC to a coilover setup (KW V3, in particular), how many hours of labour shall the operation take?

depends on a few things-to remove strut easily the front pinch bolt must come out-or here is extra time to remove the front upper arms from upper mount

to fit and set up i would budget for 3- 4 hrs with most give or take-and dependant on what method they use for existing rear spring removal

some may be a little quicker-some a little slower

Think I was billed for 5.5 / 6 hours labour for coilovers & all front arms replaced.
