i live in bedfordshire so my neariest dealer is hatfield and ive just had a row with someone in parts becuase they are bloody useless, i am asking them to help me narrow down a part as i dont know what its called or the part number, he kept sending me pictures that were not only poor and blurred but didnt actually look like the part, i then said can you at least order it and can i pay on collection if its the right part and he got funny and didnt like it, well i am not paying for something that dont fit my car surely?

i would have thought out of anyone on this planet that can narrow down this pipe then audi can ? obviosly not ???

so all i can explain it as is this if anyone can name it or give me a part number and better still tell me where to buy it please, its on the left side of the car as you look at it, its on the upper radiator hose and gose underneath the air intake pipe, when removed what you see is the wider radiator pipe go into a plastic union type bend and on the other end the wider radiator pipe then continues down the side of the engine to god knows where, on the top of this bend is however a very narrow outlet allowing a smaller pipe to come off the top which i assume goes back to the reservoir / coolant top up tank but not sure....i only want that little bend thats all, as ive snapped off the smaller outlet where the pipe connects.

will try and post a picture of the actual part hold on......

PLEASE HELP I HAVE NO CAR LOL, and audi are trying to sell me the pipes as well ffs, the pipes have clips on i literally just need this bend

ok update, the manager phoned as i put in a complaint, he assures me in his opinion it is the part i need and i have to buy the hoses as well lol but he was happy to order it in and when i go collect it if its not right then i dont have to pay, what a bllody joke as thats all i was trying to say i wanted to do anyway..

plus the first man wanted£150 for this part yet apparently now its £83 inc vat wtf

yes thats the picture but my smaller pipe on item one comes out ontop but that shows it at the bottom ? plus the pipe looks like it curls back on itself where as mine doesnt ? anyway that is the part he has ordered part no 1 so thanks for clarifying that Jon_J

Have you taken a picture of the part on your car and sent it to them? That would really help out.
Also, if its anything like ehere I work, you have to pay a surcharge to send items back, that's ehy thry don't like ordering parts unless they will 100% be bought.
