Good evening all
I hope you and your nearest/dearest are keeping safe and well? Managed to get some time to come back to this forum after nearly half a year. Hoping you can all help
The RS4 was declared SORN from March, since then have been taking the car for a gentle drive every so 2 weeks to get up to temperature and keep the parts moving (on a long private road might i add!) Will be putting the car back on the road next month and have a few bits and bobs planned by way of maintenance.
The car was lowered on H&R Monotube coilovers around this time last year, however the garage lowered the car around 50mm all round. Id since put spacers on, and it looks great but practically isn't all that viable for me (often taking my folks out and about which means i end up with a full load most times its out, abit of scraping here and there and just looks a little too "street"). As my wife is the one who drives this most of the time, she wants it putting back as close to standard ride height as possible, although after scouting the internet i cant seem to get a confident answer in terms of what the height should be set at. Current specs (centre of wheel to arch) 12.5 inches front and back.
Id like to ask for a favour for anyone who happened to be running DRC SS+ at present who wouldnt mind measuring the centre of the wheel to the arch to help guide me in terms of how much further adjustment is needed- would be really much appreciated!!

Re: Standard ride height query- SS+ Saloon
The H&R coil over kit cant get to standard height regardless of what it is , The kit like all coil overs does LOW and even lower . NOT standard height , the body and shock shaft are shortened to allow for excessive drops ( RS4 50 mm is excessive ) thats why they dont get to standard height .
The other problem is if you wind the adjsuters to the top ( as high as they go ) the car ( shocks ) will top out over bigger bumps
Hope that helps
The best set up fpor the RS 4 to guarantee comfort is the KONI shocks and 20 mm H&R sport springs or standard springs . Peach to drive once that is done

Just a tip always measure from the centre of the wheel to the top of the arch, that way you can compare to other cars with different wheels tyre pressures etc
